During the current COVID crisis, the following four documents will be utilized to determine illness exclusion. These documents have been created by the Summit County Public Health Department for use at all preschools in the county.

Can I go to school today?

Use the document below to determine whether your child is healthy enough to go to school.  We will also be using this document as guidance when we determine at drop off if your child is healthy enough to be here.

What About the Rest of the Class?

If a student or staff member is sent home, or is staying home due to a COVID-19 test, symptoms, or exposure to an individual with COVID-19, the following chart will help us determine whether or not the class needs to be dismissed or quarantined.  Please know that if this is the case, we will also be in contact with Public Health to make this determination.

When your child/our staff can return to school/work after a positive test

If your child or our staff member receives a positive COVID-19 test result, or is a close contact of an individual who has received a positive test result, these are the steps that must be followed prior to your child or our staff member coming back to school or work.  If this is the case, we will also be talking with Public Health to determine the date it is okay for your child or our staff member to return.
