Thank you to all of our parents that came to our cooking with parents training on Tuesday night this week. A special thank you to April Kemp for putting the training on. Everyone had such a great time learning some new, healthy recipes, as well as learning ways to include their children in cooking.

Strawberry Rhubarb Snack
Our kids got to enjoy a delicious strawberry rhubarb pastry Ms. Monika made today. She used the rhubarb from our garden that Ms. Ann has been working so hard on this Summer. It was delicious, and the kids loved it!

Tie-Dye Painting
Our two year old class had so much fun tie-dye painting today. They got to pick out their colors for each section, and then helped Ms. Abby squirt the paint onto the shirt. We're excited to see how they turn out once they've dried!

Planting Potatoes
This afternoon Ms. Ann and some of our four year olds planted some potatoes in our garden. The kids got to put the potatoes in the pot, cover the potatoes, with dirt, and then water them. Ms. Ann talked to them about how they will eventually grow into more potatoes. Ms. Monika will eventually use the potatoes in the meals that she cooks for the kids.
