Cloud Experiment!

Our four year old room had a great time doing a shaving cream experiment yesterday! They have been learning about the weather this week. They filled a jar with water, and then put shaving cream on top of the water to simulate clouds. The children then took droppers with food coloring, and dropped food coloring into the shaving cream. They kept dropping the food coloring into the shaving cream until it went through into the water. This teaches the children the concept of how when clouds get heavy with water, they eventually start dropping the water, which causes rain.
